Local
Lex was born and raised in Wellington, Kansas. He was homeschooled until 8th grade, and then transitioned to Wellington High School, where he completed the CTE pathway for construction.

The Farm
Lex grew up spending a lot of time on the family farm with his grandparents, giving him an appreciation for family and farm life.

The Trades
Lex not only values the trades as an educational option for many, but has his own experience with carpentry, automotive work, welding, construction, electrical/plumbing, and landscaping.

Lex takes his health very seriously, so he lifts weights almost every day and maintains a relatively strict diet. He's played baseball, excels at middle distance running, and was a top powerlifter in the region.
Fitness

2nd Amendment
Lex is a great shot and likes to do target practice with friends and family, with proficiency in both stationary and moving targets. He has also custom built multiple firearms.

Lex's education has included a lot of traveling; he has been to 9 countries and seen a lot of America.
Travel

History Buff
Lex has always had a special interest in history. He's volunteered at the Chisolm Trail Museum, and lists John Locke, Thomas Jefferson, and Kansas' own John Brown as favorite historical figures.

Adventurous
Lex enjoys jet skis and kayaks on the lake, riding dirt bikes, zip lining, hiking, bonfires with friends, and is open to trying lots of new things.

Animal Lover
Lex has always had a soft spot for all animals, and has even had lizards and pythons as pets! He's also done volunteer work at the local Humane Society.

Lex has been influenced by one of Kansas' top industries, with an extensive interest in aviation. A potential career he has considered is Apache helicopter pilot - IF he isn't too big for the cockpit!

Helping Hand
Lex is currently helping his parents rebuild the family homestead from the studs up, working to get it updated and self-sufficient.

Charity
Aside from his other volunteer work, Lex has also donated his carpentry labor to the Sleep in Heavenly Peace nonprofit, helping build 100 beds for children in need.

Work
While Lex has not had what you'd call a traditional job, he regularly does freelance landscaping and manual labor jobs to raise money for his savings and investments accounts.

Lex manages money well and has a highly successful stock portfolio that often generates returns of 40% or more, doing extensive research himself on when to buy/sell.
