- Propose a cap on property tax increases

- Create a fairer tax system by shifting tax burden from the working class to mega corporations

- Increase state and local revenues through sin taxes and potentially, marijuana legalization

-Reduce taxes on small businesses

Healthcare

-Take advantage of existing funds available for re-opening rural hospitals

-Increase facilities and funding for mental health and addiction disorders to reduce homelessness and property crime

- Put a cap on out of pocket costs for prescription medication

- Bring more insurance providers into Kansas to increase competition and lower costs

Anti-Surveillance

- Reduce or eliminate prevalence of surveillance technologies like Flock cameras

- Stricter legal processes for access to data collected by surveillance technologies

- Require transparency for any institution using such technology, with regular auditing and user logs made easily and readily available to the public

- Continue fighting for 4th amendment protections regarding all surveillance technology use

Economic Development

- Create built-in, state wide environmental and financial protections for communities sought out for data centers and other potentially predatory industries

- Create pathways to develop local talent and build infrastructure that encourages them to stay local

- Reduce or eliminate outdated and redundant permitting, licensing, and zoning policies that discourage small business growth and development

Marijuana Legislation

- Start with medical legalization, in particular as a less addictive alternative to opiates

- Potentially move forward to decriminalization for small personal amounts

- Consider the financial opportunities of full legalization for state wide tax relief

Accountability

- Term limits

- No stock trading for those in significant elected positions of power

-Ban price gouging and predatory loans

-Stricter enforcement of monopoly violations

-End Citizens United, reduce corporate spending in elections

- Harsher penalties for entities that cause health and/or environmental harm

-Stricter enforcement of labor laws and wage theft violations
